Commandments 7 & 8

Commandment # 7 Thou shalt not commit Adultery. Exodus 20:14

The word adultery comes from the word adulterate. Which in the Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, is defined as:
…to corrupt, debase, or make impure by the addition of a foreign or inferior substance … spurious. Adultery in the Old Testament is the sexual relationship between someone other than husband and wife, but in the New Testament Yahshua gives a more precise explanation of what adultery is.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Mathew 5:27-28

In Galatians not only adultery, but the disobedience and disrespect to the other commandments are very clearly condemned.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh. Galatians 5:19-21

Commandment # 8 Thou shalt not steal. Exodus 20:15

This commandment is found three times in the Old Testament. Exodus 20:15, Leviticus 19:11 and Deuteronomy 5:19. It is also found five times in the New Testament. Matthew 19:18, Mark 10:19, Luke 18:20, Romans 13:9 and Ephesians 4:28.
Theft or stealing is the act of taking something by force or something that belongs to another person. You may not know it, but theft is the most committed crime in the United Sates. And what is worse is our government is the one that is committing a lot of it. The government steals at least fifteen thousand dollars per year from an American who makes a gross income of forty thousand dollars each year. They rob you with their income taxes, property taxes, fines, and many other taxes.
However, we can also steal from Yahweh. When we refuse to give him our honor, obedience and respect towards him, it is a way of theft, because Yahshua bought us with a great price and Yahweh owns us.

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: I Peter 1:18-19

In Ephesians, Paul gave the solution to stealing:

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Ephesians 4:28
